A single-vehicle crash at approximately 7:15 p.

m. Monday, Oct. 18, has claimed the life of an Altoona woman.  

Violet Dean Little, 75, was fatally injured when she was struck in the roadway by a 2013 Dodge Challenger, driven by Cody Blake Sims, 37, of Oneonta. Little was pronounced decreased at the scene.

The crash occurred on Alabama 75 near Wynnville Road, approximately two miles south of Snead.

Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.
