Two Cherokee County residents are currently facing multiple drug charges, following their arrest just after midnight Sunday – Daniel Martin, age 41, and Marcus Freeman, age 38, both of Centre – were taken into custody and booked into jail around 2:30am Monday.

Martin stands charged with Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree, the Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Failure to Appear – and Freeman was charged with Possession of a Synthetic Narcotic and the Possession of Drug Paraphernalia in addition to a Probation Violation.

Bond for Martin was set at $3,900 – $3,000 for Freeman.

Both remain in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
