The Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Decatur, Alabama man on a charge of Kidnapping/Interference with Custody.
Kelvin Birgans, age 36, was jailed at around 3:30 Thursday afternoon – no additional information regarding the circumstances surrounding the case has been made available.
He currently remains held the Cherokee County Detention Center with bond yet to be set.
