Mrs. Ellinda Holcomb, age 73 of Piedmont, passed away Friday, August 27th at Floyd Medical Center in Rome, GA.

Funeral services will be 1:PM Wednesday, September 1st at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Shane Swafford and Bro. Dean Amos officiating; burial will follow at Howell Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 5 until 7:PM Tuesday, August 31st at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will include Brian Davis, Jonathan Davis, Sam Swafford, Seth Swafford, Codi Amos, Zach Hampton

Survivors include her sons, Travis Holcomb, Randy (Mary) Holcomb; brothers, Albert Samples, Wendell Samples; also one sister, Karen Baldre; 4 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; special friends, members of Grace  Point

She is preceded in death by her husband Billy Wayne Holcomb; brother, Jeffrey Allen Samples; granddaughter, Jennifer Davis Tierce.

Ms. Holcomb was a native of Cherokee County, the daughter of the late Kenneth Mitchell and Ruth Edgeworth and was a member of the Gracepoint Church of God.
