GERALDINE – The Piedmont Bulldogs earned a 26-7 football jamboree win at Geraldine Friday night.
Jack Hayes put the Bulldogs on the board with a 1-yard touchdown run with 5:43 remaining in the first quarter. Sloan Smith’s extra point made it 7-0.
Dontavious Jordan accounted for the rest of Piedmont’s touchdowns. He had scoring runs of 4, 65 and 35 yards, all in the fourth quarter.
Colby Hall accounted for Geraldine’s only touchdown with a 65-yard run, also in the fourth quarter.
Piedmont opens the 2021 season by hosting Cherokee County on Friday.
