Reports out of Anniston say an investigation has been launched, regarding a shooting incident Wednesday night that left one man dead – and two others injured.

Law enforcement arrived at that location in the 1800 block of Moore Avenue, around 10:00pm to find a male subject lying on the ground; Maurice M. McCauley, age 33 was taken to Northeast Alabama Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced dead

The injuries suffered by the other two victims were not life-threatening.

At this point, no arrests have been made, and no other information is being released at this time.
