Mr. Samuel Mallett age 67 of Centre passed away Wednesday July 28th at his residence.

A memorial service will be at a later date.

Survivors include son, Jason (Amanda) Mallett of Sand Rock; daughter, April Mallett of Gadsden; brother, Charles Mallett of Opelika; sister, Susan Keener of Opelika; 5 grandchildren Austin and Samson Mallett, Mallory Barkley, Natalee Hulsey and Emily Hulsey; and 2 great-grandchildren, Isaac Mallett and Amelia Mallett.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Jim Mallett and grandparents Hattie Mallett and Bertha Morgan.

Mr. Mallett was a native of Cherokee County and the son of the late Charles Sanford and Vivian Helen Morgan Mallett and was of the Baptist Faith.
