Two Gaylesville residents – 32 year old Derek Shane Parks, and Nicholas Silvers, 38 – were recently arrested in northwest Georgia on drug trafficking and other charges.
The two were pulled over in Lindale at the intersection of Park Avenue and South 1st Street for a window tint violation. Reports state that officers found over 28 grams of methamphetamine during a subsequent search of the vehicle. As a result, both were charged with possession of methamphetamine, the possession of meth with intent to distribute, trafficking meth, and the possession of drug related objects.
Parks was additionally charged with the window tint violation.
