An 18 Wheeler overturned at the South Y in Ft Payne around 10:00am Thursday.
Fortunately, neither the driver nor anyone else was hurt during the mishap; no other vehicles were involved.
According to the Ft Payne Times-Journal, at this time (10:50am) officials are working to remove the big rig – and keep oil from spilling into the creek. Motorists should exercise caution and avoid the area if at all possible.
