CEDAR BLUFF – Caitlin Slayton went 3-for-3 at the plate wit a run and a RBI to lead the Cedar Bluff Lady Tigers to a 9-8 softball win over visiting Ider on Tuesday.

Mattie Payne tripled, scored twice and drove in a run for the Lady Tigers. Emma Haney had a double. Reece Patterson contributed a hit and two RBIs. Harlie Nelson had a hit and scored a pair of runs. Mary Sausville collected a hit, a walk and a run. Haley Allen added a hit, a run and a RBI. Maggie Clowdis came away with a hit and a run. Jordyn Walker walked and a scored a run.

Patterson picked up the win in the circle. She allowed just one earned run on four hits with two walks and four strikeouts.

Cedar Bluff hosts Hokes Bluff Wednesday afternoon at 4 p.m.
