PIEDMONT – Alana Loyd scattered nine hits, a walk and three strikeouts, but didn’t give up a run in the Cherokee County Lady Warriors’ 3-0 softball win at Piedmont on Tuesday.
McKinley Rouss had a pair of hits and scored a run for the Lady Warriors (19-12). Grayson Tucker homered. Abby Lea and Anna Walker both doubled. Loyd contributed a hit, a walk and a RBI. Carson Coley had a hit and scored a run. Karlee Perry and Lanie Williams both finished with a hit.
