A Georgia man narrowly escaped injury, after crashing his box truck on Highway 278 over the weekend.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident report – around 6:00am Sunday, the driver of the 2016 Hino lost control of the big truck, left the roadway and crashed into a stand of small trees – causing significant damage to the cab.
Luckily, the driver, listed on that report as a male from Jonesboro, Georgia, was only shaken up in the mishap.
That wreck remains under investigation by Alabama State Troopers.
