SPRING GARDEN — The Class 2A, No. 4 Spring Garden Panthers scored runs in every inning against visiting Class 3A, No. 5 Hokes Bluff on Tuesday to earn a 12-2 baseball win in five innings.

The Panthers (18-10) blew the game open with a seven-run third.

Cam Welsh went 2-for-2 at the plate with three RBIs. He also pitched all five innings and allowed four hits to earn the win.

Luke Welsh was 2-for-3 with a pair of doubles and two RBIs. Chaz Pope was also 2-for-3 with two RBIs. Weston Kirk, Ryley Kirk, Jackson Maddox, and Kenneth Petty also had hits.

The Panthers play Ranburne at Choccolocco Park in Oxford on Thursday. Game time is 4:30 p.m.
