SAND ROCK – Katelyn St. Clair had a perfect day at the plate, going 4-for-4 with a pair of doubles, three runs and five RBIs in leading the Sand Rock Lady Wildcats to a 16-0 softball win in three innings over visiting Gadsden City on Friday.
EllaGrace Hood homered and drove in four runs for the Lady Wildcats (15-12-1). Sherina Foster went 2-for-3 with a double, three runs and two RBIs. Maggie Hester was also 2-for-3 with a two runs and a RBI. Maggie Tinsley tallied a pair of hits and drove in a run.
Jadyn Foster collected a hit, a walk, two runs and a RBI. Rylin St. Clair contributed a hit and scored a run. Lindsey Chambers had a hit and a walk. Lily Clanton came away with a walk and a run. Lacey Barnette scored three runs.
Jadyn Foster picked up the win in the circle. She no-hit the Lady Titans, allowing them one walk with nine strikeouts.
Sand Rock travels to Piedmont on Monday at 4:30 p.m.
