Cherokee County Arrest Files:

Michael Ray Jones, age 62 of Centre _ DUI;

Jacob Austin Beck, age 22 of Centre – Failure to Appear on prior charges of Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree and Violation of the Prohibition Law;

Derrick Christopher Ward, age 42 of Gadsden – Grand Jury Indictment/Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance;

and

William Edward Craig, age 47 of Centre – Distribution of Obscene Materials.

Arrests are based on probable cause – all suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Currently there are 63 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
