CENTRE – Brian Green delivered a walk-off double, scoring two runs in Cherokee County’s 5-4 comeback win over Glencoe in baseball action on Thursday.

The Warriors (1-4) out-hit the Yellow Jackets 8-4. Cooper Rodgers led the Warrior bats with three hits. Walker Pruett posted two hits. Malachi Horton and Connor Wilson both had a hit apiece.

Wilson also picked up the win on the mound. Pruett and Green also pitched for the Warriors.

Cherokee County is scheduled to play at Southside of Gadsden with Corner on Saturday.
