Emergency personnel responded to a report of a vehicle fire Tuesday morning at a home on County Road 115.
That call went out at 5:05am indicating that a vehicle was on fire at the location and around ten minutes later, it was reported that the car was completely engulfed in flames – and that the structure was also in danger.
Gaylesville Firefighters quickly arrived on the scene with requests for the Centre and Cedar Bluff departments to stand by for possible assistance.
At around 5:40, the blaze was brought under control – and fortunately it appeared no one was hurt during the incident. At that point, a wrecker was called to remove the burned car from the scene.
The cause of the fire has yet to be determined.
