Alabama Adds More Than 2,000 COVID Cases Going from Monday into Tuesday

The data released Tuesday morning by the Alabama Department of Public Health, indicated an increase of 2,078 COVID cases going from Monday into Tuesday.

According to the ADPH the state has recorded 462,938 COVID-19 cases since March 13th of last year (2020) with Alabama’s death toll currently standing at 7,894.

Locally Cherokee County has seen a total of 1,714 cases – with 1,115 being confirmed – and 599 being listed as probable; 36 deaths have been recorded in the county – with 27 of those being confirmed as COVID-related and 9 being listed as probable.
