SPRING GARDEN – Cooper Austin and Weston Kirk both connected on three 3-pointers and finished with 15 and 11 points respectively, but they weren’t enough to pull the Spring Garden Panthers past Class 6A Buckhorn on Friday night. The Panthers fell by the final of 85-60.

Austin added five assists, four rebounds, a steal and a block for the Panthers (11-5). Kirk also contributed five boards, two steals, two blocks and an assist.
Cam and Luke Welsh both tossed in 10 points. Andrew Bates sank a pair of treys and finished with six points.
Spring Garden trailed 20-18 at the end of the first quarter, but Buckhorn went on a 29-12 run in the second to go up 49-30 at halftime.
