Two people were arrested on controlled substance charges Wednesday in Cherokee County

April Lynn Geary, age 42 of Gadsden, was charged with Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia; meanwhile Joshua Scott Hardin, age 35 of Gadsden, was arrested on charges of the Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, the Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Escape/Fugitive from Justice.

Both were booked in qt the Cherokee County Detention Center around 8:00pm, where they remain with bond for Geary set at $3,500 and for Hardin, $3,000.
