GUNTERSVILLE – Mary Hayes Johnson posted 17 points and five steals, but they weren’t enough to lead the Cherokee County Lady Warriors past Susan Moore in the Guntersville Christmas Tournament on Tuesday. They lost by the final of 68-56.
Emily Allen added 10 points for the Lady Warriors (12-3). Karlee Perry finished with nine points.
Cherokee County takes on Plainview on Wednesday at 5:30 p.m.
