Two Cherokee County residents were arrested on controlled substance charges Tuesday.
Lily Ann Alsabrook, age 21 and Michael Leonard Russell, age 53, both of Centre – were each arrested and charged with the Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, the Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Alsabrook was jailed around 4:00pm; Russell just after 7:00 that evening.
Both remain in the Cherokee County Detention Center with bond set at $3,500 each.
