Authorities are currently working what appears to be a homicide case just across the state line in northwest Georgia.
Shortly after midnight Sheriff Mark Schrader released this statement:
“The Chattooga County Sheriff’s Office and GBI are currently working the scene of a fatal stabbing in the Lyerly area of the county. More details will be released later. The suspect is in custody.”
