FYFFE – Maci Brown and Lanie Henderson both scored 14 points to lead the Sand Rock Lady Wildcats to a 63-30 girls basketball victory at Fyffe on Tuesday.
Brown also pulled down eight rebounds and had a steal. Henderson also had eight boards and four steals for the Lady Wildcats (3-1).
Makenzi Blackwell sank three 3-pointers and had nine points. Haylee Stansell also contributed nine points, five rebounds and three assists. Caley Garrett collected seven points, four boards and a steal. Katelyn St. Clair finished with five points, five rebounds and two assists.
In boys action, the Wildcats dropped a 66-43 decision to fall to 2-2.
Sand Rock travels to Gaston on Monday.
