A car went into the lake at around 9:30am Friday after traveling down a steep embankment on Highway 68 between Cedar Bluff and Gaylesville.
Local Firefighters, Floyd EMS and Alabama State Troopers responded to that location, about a mile past Harton Nursery and Grocery, where they found the vehicle almost but not quite submerged in the water, still right side up.
Luckily, no one was hurt and no other vehicles were involved.
