Patricia Lawson, age 69 of Leesburg, passed away Monday November 2nd at Floyd Cherokee Medical Center.
Funeral services will be 1 PM Friday November 6th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive from 11 AM until 1 PM Friday at the funeral home.
Honorary pallbearers will be Billy Wynn, Phil Lawson, Dalton Farr, James Jenkins, Danny Roberts, Craig Chandler and Ted Duane Sweat.
She was preceded in death by her husband James Edward Lawson and daughter-in-law Jenifer Sweat.
Survivors include sons, Larry Steven Sweat, Anthony Joe Sweat of Leesburg and Ted Duane Sweat of Leesburg; daughters, Nikki Lawson, Jamie Lynn Lawson, Meladie (Scott) Ezell, Marie Nelson, and Margie Nelson; brothers, Donald Manus of Tennessee, David Sparkman of Tennessee; sisters, Patty Murphy of Oneonta, Wanda McPeek of Tennessee, Joyce Flowers of Tennessee; brother-in-law, Greg Lawson; sister-in-law, Karen Lawson; grandchildren, Kaden Sweat, Angela Hartline, Rosemary Hartline, Ciera Dickey, Maddison Dickey, Danielle Manus, Briahna Lawson, Kaden Lawson, Anthony Sweat Jr., Destiny Taylor, Alexis Taylor, Meghan Purvis, Zach Moore; great grandchildren, nieces and nephews also remaining; chosen daughters, Shelly Ayers, Janaki Bhakti, and Christina Stewart; best friend, Frances Brewster.
Mrs. Lawson was a native of Tennessee and the daughter of the late Joe and Geneva Manus and a member of The Church of God.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made toward funeral expenses.
