Cedar Bluff Home Damaged By Fire On Saturday, No Injuries Reported

Cedar Bluff, Gaylesville and Centre Firefighters were called to the scene of a structure fire at a residence on Cornwall Avenue in Cedar Bluff on Saturday morning. 

Cedar Bluff Assistant Fire Chief Geno Smith was among the first to arrive on the scene to find heavy smoke coming from the kitchen area of the home. Firefighters made entry to the house and was able to quickly contain the blaze. The occupants were able to safely get out and it appears that no one was injured.

It appears that the origin of the fire was on the stove. 

Cedar Bluff Police and Floyd EMS medics also responded.
