Troopers Respond to 12 Accidents Across the Tri-County Area Thursday – Five in Cherokee County

Alabama State Troopers responded to a dozen different accidents across Cherokee, Etowah, and DeKalb counties Thursday – with five of those taking place in Cherokee County.

Of the wrecks occurring locally, only one involved injuries – that was at 12:40pm on County Road 31.  The vehicles involved included a 2016 Lincoln being driven by a male resident of Centre, who was hurt and a 2015 Honda being driven by a female resident of Rainbow City.  She was unhurt however a passenger in her vehicle was listed as receiving injuries.

No additional information was available regarding the condition of either person injured.
