A Gadsden man is jailed on charges of sexual abuse and sodomy involving a child under the age of 12.

Court records show Mark Anthony Maddox, 36, was arrested September 12.

A judge set Maddox’s bond at 0,000 cash.

If he makes the bond, he can have no contact with the victim or the victim’s family.

A court date has not yet been set.
