Mr. Alvis Chester Jolly age 93 of Centre, passed away Wednesday Septmber 2nd at his residence.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday September 4th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ray Strawbridge officiating; burial will follow at Noah Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 12 noon until 2 P.M. Friday.
Survivors include his wife Arvine Morris Jolly, sons: Troy (Edna)Jolly of Centre, Steve (Debra) Jolly of Centre, Glen (Nelda) Jolly of Centre, Greg (LizaBeth) Jolly of Centre, Mike Price of Centre; Daughter Carol Price Jordon; sisters Julia Jolly Whaley and Jeanette Jolly Hogan; grand children 14; great grandchildren 25; several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his previous wife Josephine Jolly; son Ray Jolly; Grandson David Jolly.
Mr. Jolly was a native of Cherokee County; the son of the late Raymond and Burma Hicks Jolly, and was a member or Noah Baptist Church.
