Ruth LeCroy, age 97 of Centre, passed away Thursday, July 23rd at Cherokee Health & Rehab.
Funeral services were held at 10 AM Sunday July 26th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Ted Lowe officiating, burial will follow in Cherokee Memory Gardens.
Pallbearers include Larry Lowe, Andy Lowe, Jack LeCroy, Josh Decker, Brad Jacoway, Jeff Crane and Donnie George. Honorary Pallbearers include Benny Nicholson, Luke Trammell, James Burkhart, Charley Whorton and Tom Kelly.
Survivors include son, Danny (Cherry) LeCroy of Centre; grandchildren, Jade (Brad) Jacoway, Jack LeCroy, Meg (Jeff) Crane, Andy (Sandy) Lowe, Ted (Nancie) Lowe and Payden (Lane) Montgomery; great-grandchildren, Reid, Owen and Liam Jacoway, Josh (Kaitilyn) Decker and Jeb Crane, Taylor Lowe, Teddie and Nikki Lowe, Malachi and Bravery Montgomery.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Millard LeCroy; daughters, Beverly Lowe and Regina George; grandson, Griffin George; 3 brothers; 3 sisters; several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. LeCroy was a native of Cherokee County, the daughter of the late Harvey and Ida Josephine Banister and was of the Baptist Faith.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Centre First Baptist Church Building Fund or Celebrate Recovery at Union #3 Baptist Church in Etowah County.
