Coronavirus cases in Alabama continue their upward trend
The Alabama Department of Public Health’s July 16th 10:00am numbers show 60,158 cases across the state; that’s an increase of 1,933 overnight. The state also listed 1,200 COVID-19 related deaths; an increase of 17 from the Wednesday, July 15th numbers.
According to latest data from the ADPH – Cherokee County has had a total of 146 cases – up six from the previous day; Calhoun County 659 – that’s up 17 from the day prior; DeKalb County 1,185 – an increase of 40 over the day before – while Etowah County stands at 1,175 cases – up 39 from the day before.
