In the Cherokee County Arrest Files for Monday:

Phillip Scott Chapman, 40 of Gadsden – Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance (two counts), the Unlawful Possession of Marijuana 2nd Degree, DUI/Controlled Substance – and Attempting to Elude.

These arrests are based on probable cause – all suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Currently there are 72 inmates housed in the Cherokee County Detention Center.
