VENICE BEDWELL, age 100 of Cedar Bluff, passed away Monday, June 9th at Cherokee Health & Rehab.

Graveside services will be 2:PM Thursday, June 11th at Cedar Bluff Cemetery with Rev. Mark Cosby officiating.

Pallbearers include Skylar Pruitt, Tommy Bedwell, Matt Bedwell, Joseph Bullard, Bret Burgess, Jimmy Black.

Survivors include sons, Billy Ray (Charlotte) Bedwell of Cedar Bluff, David (Diane) Bedwell of Cedar Bluff; daughter, Donna (Steve) Agan of Centre; sister, Vera Fuqua of Piedmont; 12 grandchildren; 19 great grandchildren; 18 great-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, H.L. “Buddy” Bedwell; daughter, Linda Joyce Jennings; grandchildren, Cheryl and Darren Jennings; 7 brothers; 2 sisters.

Mrs. Bedwell was a native of Dekalb County, the daughter of the late Thomas Harris and Marbut Eula Cliffie Dobbs and was a member of Cedar Bluff First Baptist Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to Cedar Bluff Baptist Building Fund.
