Jerry Mack West age 77 of Centre passed away on Thursday June 4th at Cherokee Health & Rehab.

Funeral services will be 3: PM Sunday June 7th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chip Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Cherokee Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 1: PM until the hour of the service. While visiting the funeral home social distancing is required per mandate of the state.

Memorials may be made to East Centre Baptist Church, Big Oak Ranch or the family will accept flowers.

Pallbearers include Reece George, Jack West, John West, Randy Kelly, Tres Dotson, and LARRY “Frog” West.

Survivors include his wife Sherrial Savage West, son; Joey (Nikki) West of Cullman, daughters; Gina (Brian) George of Birmingham, Beth (Michiel) Leijnse of Seattle, WA, brother; Larry “Frog” (Kasey) West of Centre, sister in-Law  Tandy West, six grandchildren; Hannah George, Reece George, Abby West, Jack West, Lily West and Francesca Leijnse, several nieces and nephews.

Jerry was preceded in death by his brother Tim West.

Mr. West was a native of Cherokee County the son of the late Bill and Ruby Mackey West and attended East Centre Baptist Church.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Southern Care Hospice and the staff of Cherokee Health & Rehab for their lovng care.
