A single vehicle accident Monday afternoon claimed the life of a DeKalb County man.
William Robert Floyd, 59 of Fyffe, was killed when the Harley-Davidson motorcycle he was driving left the roadway and crashed into a tree. Floyd was pronounced dead at the scene. The wreck occurred on Jackson County 21, three miles north of Scottsboro.
That accident remains under investigation by Alabama State Troopers.
