Two people were arrested on controlled substances charges in Cherokee County Monday.
Gunner Cole Patton and Sara Mae Highfield, both age 27, from Leesburg, were each charged with the Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance and the Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Patton was additionally charged with Domestic Violence 3rd Degree.
They were booked into the Cherokee County Detention Center shortly before 6:00pm –with bond for Patton set at $5,500 and bond for Highfield set at $3,000.
