Faye Jean Steele, age 72 of Gaylesville, passed away Saturday, April 18th at Floyd Medical Centre in Rome, GA.

A private graveside service was held at 2:PM Tuesday, April 21st at Cherokee Memory Gardens.

Survivors include her husband, Robert L. Steele; son, Danny L. (Erica) Steele of Gaylesville; daughters, Tina L. (Scott) Brumbeloe, Jennifer A. (Seth) Adams; sisters, Kay Crane, Marie Bobbitt; grandchildren, Skylor Brumbeloe, Chloe Brumbeloe, Sylas Adams, Sawyer Adams; great grandchild, Ivory Brumbeloe; several nieces & nephews.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Buster Bobbitt.

Mrs. Steele was a native of Cherokee County, the daughter of the late Paul Harold and Alma Mozelle Eubanks Bobbitt and was a member of Unity Baptist Church.
