A Silver Creek, Georgia woman was arrested earlier this month, following a bizarre incident involving an occupied train engine and a dangerous weapon.

According to warrants, Ruby Elaine Gladney, age 42, attempted to enter a train engine back on March 5th, near her home on Reeceburg Road at Indian River Road – while armed with a machete.  She started striking the side of the engine with the weapon prior to unsuccessfully trying to enter the occupied cab.  She then managed to get into an empty engine.  The warrants gave no indication as to why she was so intent on gaining access to the compartments.

Gladney has been charged with Aggravated Assault, Hijacking a Motor Vehicle and Burglary 1st Degree.
