Two people were placed under arrest on Controlled Substance charges in Cherokee County Thursday.
Jimmy Ray Ramey, age 51 from Leesburg was booked into jail just prior to 1:00pm, charged with the Unlawful Possession of Controlled Substance and the Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia in addition to Assault 3rd Degree – while a 32 year old Union Grove resident, Amanda Sheree Walls was charged with Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance.
Bond for Ramey was set at $3,500 and at $2,500 for Walls.
