Is it time for Alabama to have a statewide lottery?

That’s a question that draws heated debate from both sides – with many simply driving to a neighboring state to voice their opinion by laying down their dollars there.  WEIS Radio recently spoke with State Representative Ginny Shaver regarding that subject – as another Representative has reportedly already put into motion the push for a lottery and it’s likely that proposal will come before Representative Shaver sooner than later:
