Etowah County Authorities are investigating a shooting incident that occurred in the Coates Bend area on Monday night.
Sheriff’s Office officials said the shooting took place on Speedy Lane near Hokes Bluff – with the victim suffering a single gunshot wound to the neck. He was reportedly air-lifted to a Birmingham area hospital for treatment.
