Billy Lee Sentell Sr. age 80 of Centre passed away Saturday January 18th at Redmond Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be 2 PM Monday January 20th at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Patty Robinson, Rev. Jerry Miller and Rev. Melvyn Salter officiating, burial will follow in Providence Cemetery ( Hwy 9). The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
Survivors include wife, Martha Jo Matthews Sentell of Centre; son, Billy Lee (Bella) Sentell Jr.; daughters, Tammy Lynn Culberson and Pamela Lee (Rodney) Qualls; sisters, Nellie Jo Austin of Piedmont and Linda Sue Lemons of Centre; grandchildren, LaKayla Sentell, Rickey Sentell and Justin Smart; great-grandchildren, Rhian Watts, Reese Watts, Lucas Smart and Peyton Bright.
Pallbearers include Pete Lemons, Danny Haney, Charles Pruitt, Billy Ray Matthews, Rod Wood and Scott Curry. Honorary Pallbearers include Hank Fletcher, Dr. Barton Perry, Andy Ellis, Mark Flynt and Ellisville Fire Department.
Mr. Sentell was a native of Cherokee County and the son of the late James Lee and Myrtle Sentell. He was a member of Exie Congregational Holiness Church and a volunteer fireman with Ellisville Fire Department.
