Four people were arrested on drug charges Friday during the execution of a search warrant at a home on Lynn Avenue in Coosa.
79 year old Ann Ruth Parr, 26 year old Derek Parr, and 32-year old Ashley Nichole Royer – all residents of the home and Doyle Eugene Tant Sr., age 42 of a Morningside Drive address, all stand charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of meth with the intent to distribute, possession of less than an ounce of marijuana, the possession of drug-related objects, and reckless conduct.
According to Floyd County Jail Records, Police found meth, marijuana, several sets of digital scales, hypodermic needles, and smoking devices at the residence.
Derek Parr was also charged with Obstructing Police, after he resisted arrest and injured an officer.
Police said there was also an infant child inside the residence whose life was endangered as a result of the presence of the illegal substances.
Meanwhile, 51 year old Vivian Louise Tucker of a Wet Oak Drive address was arrested and charged with public drunk, disorderly conduct and misdemeanor obstruction of officers.
Authorities said she showed up at the residence during the execution of the search warrant, and interfered with the investigation.
