One Person Airlifted After Being Injured In A Motorcycle Accident In Cedar Bluff / UPDATED

A motorcyclist was air-lifted for treatment following a collision with another vehicle on County Road 44 in Cedar Bluff on Tuesday afternoon.  The initial call stated that the driver of the motorcycle, listed on the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency accident report as being a resident of Ft Payne, was found lying in the middle of the roadway. 

He was taken from the scene by Floyd EMS to a landing zone that had been set up at Cedar Bluff High School and from there, was flown to an area trauma center. 

No information regarding the specific nature of his injuries has been made available.

The Cedar Bluff Fire Department, Floyd EMS, Sheriff’s Office Deputies and Alabama State Troopers responded to the scene.
