The Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office and several other agencies took part in a manhunt last (Wednesday) night – during which they were in pursuit of a male subject on a four-wheeler just north of Cedar Bluff.  A helicopter was also called in to provide assistance.

That subject was traveling in heavily wooded areas along Highway 35 and County Roads 92 and 647 with a search lasting from around 6:30 until 9:00pm until the trail essentially went cold.

It’s unclear what charges the subject was wanted on.
