A 23 year old Piedmont man was booked in at the Floyd County Jail Monday on a warrant charging him with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
According to the warrant, Tyler Mitchell Morgan was found in possession of a Kel-Tec .22 caliber pistol back on November 8th at a location on Lake View Drive in Rome. He was originally convicted of a felony back on May 9th, 2016 in Alabama.
