One person was injured in a single vehicle rollover on County Road 71 just outside of Centre on Monday afternoon.  The call came in at 1:40pm with Floyd EMS, Cherokee County Rescue Squad personnel, Cherokee County Sheriff’s deputies, Mt. Weisner Fire Department and Alabama State Troopers responding to the scene.

That accident involved a Nissan SUV – driven by George Miller, Jr. of Centre – which left the roadway and overturned in the driveway of a nearby residence.

Information on the extent of Miller’s injuries was not immediately available.

That accident remains under investigation by Alabama State Troopers.
