There was a multi-vehicle accident taking place shortly before 5:00am Friday on Highway 411 just inside the Etowah County line, shutting down both lanes of traffic for roughly two-and-a-half hours forcing motorists to detour onto Owl’s Hollow Road, or find another route altogether.  One lane of traffic was opened around 7:30 with the scene being cleared a short time later.
