According to the National Weather Service north Alabama will be experiencing more rain at least through Friday – with most of that being in the form of light showers and possibly one or two thunderstorms, but no severe weather conditions are expected. Areas in north Alabama can expect anywhere from a quarter-inch to an inch. North-Central Alabama could get a bit more – anywhere from a half-inch to one-and-a-half inches. There will be more rain to our south.
The rain should finally take a break just in time for the first weekend of 2019.
